POWDER DRAIN CLEANER

Powder Drain Cleaner contains high levels of caustic, which is extremely corrosive.  It is a very strong alkali and therefore extremely dangerous.  Always use small quantities at a time.  Stand well clear of the drain when using as the reaction between the drain cleaner and water is violent and creates an exothermic reaction (produces heat). If too much is used a large heat build up is created, which can lead to “blow back” which results in the chemical and the items blocking the drain being blown back up the drain. Again it is stressed that this product is dangerous.

This cleaning chemical is very effective at unblocking drains and is economical.

Sprinkle only small quantities of the powder into the drain at a time standing well clear as this is carried out.  Allow at least a 10-minute reaction time before flushing with a small amount of water. Repeat if necessary.

Keep out of reach of children.  Wear gloves, protective clothing and face/eye protection.  Avoid eye contact - if it occurs - wash immediately and seek medical attention immediately. Avoid inhalation - severe irritant - artificial respiration and oxygen may be required in severe cases.  Avoid skin contact, wash off with copious amounts of clean, running water and remove contaminated clothes. Seek medical advice immediately. Ingestion – DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING, give milk or large quantities of water. Seek medical advice IMMEDIATELY. Please keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of pathways to avoid accidental spillage
