Blendwell Chemicals first began making cleaning products in 1990. The company was started by Charles Marais who brought a wealth of experience with him to manufacture quality cleaning products. The company grew through word of mouth and Blendwell Chemicals sold its products to resellers who would go on to supply industry with their own brands.
Eventually, his daughter Judy Sunasky, took over the reigns and brought Blendwell Chemicals into a new era. With the development of specialized cleaning products like food safe cleaning and green cleaning products, Blendwell Chemicals has grown to capture new markets. The high quality and great value ethos of the company still runs through its core but Blendwell Chemicals is making new inroads in specializing cleaning products with its own brands namely H-range and EnviroBlend.
Blendwell Chemicals has won the SABC Enviropedia award for green cleaning products and was one of the first South African companies to be awarded GreenTag certification (international certification for eco-friendly products).
The food grade cleaning products are mostly certified by Intertek and SABS and are fully HACCP compliant. There are even some eco-friendly cleaning products in the food grade range. The factory is ISO9001:2014 certified and this builds on the origins of cleaning products you can trust.
With the recent attainment of a level 1 BBBEE score, Blendwell Chemicals aims to supply even more companies with great cleaning products. Blendwell Chemicals believes in making cleaning easy and effective no matter what needs cleaning.
