Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator 

 

Salary: Market Related       Job Type: Fixed Term Contract       Location: Midrand  

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Minimum 1 year finance experience
  • Minimum 2 years administration experience
  • Knowledge of the finance industry
  • Well-developed organizational skills.
  • Must have a sense of urgency to handle extreme pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Be able to identify problems relating to administration and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communication skills
  • Must have the ability to interact at all levels in the organisation.
  • Computer literacy: (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, SAP)

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Degree in Accounting

 

Duties will include: 

 

  • Daily sales cash up review and audit, capture the cash ups on SAP and maintain the cash up queries
  • Maintain the petty cash book, excel spreadsheet for expenditure and receipts
  • Follow up on long outstanding Debtors and prepare the long outstanding debtors aging report
  • Assign POD’s that had to be scanned in onto the online document management system
  • Email customer documents – invoices, credit notes and monthly statements
  • Scan in supplier invoices and save on to the server maintain the physical filing system
  • Create Purchase Orders for items per the Supplier list.
  • Maintain the details of the Supplier list
  • Risk assessment procedures for new customer credit application
