Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator

  • Extensive knowledge of the finance industry
  • Minimum 2 year’s accounting experience
  • Minimum 1 year’s administration experience
  • Experience with Debtors and Creditors
  • Well-developed organizational skills.
  • Must have a sense of urgency to handle extreme pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Be able to identify problems relating to administration and provide constructive feedback.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must have the ability to interact at all levels in the organisation.
  • Computer literacy: (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, SAP)



  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting

Duties will include:


  • Daily sales cash up review and audit, capture the cash ups on SAP and maintain the cash up queries
  • Maintain the petty cash book, excel spreadsheet for expenditure and receipts
  • Monthly debtors and creditors reconciliations
  • Monthly bank reconciliation
  • Processing of creditor and debtor invoices into the SAP system
  • Email customer documents – invoices, credit notes and monthly statements as and when required
  • Scan in supplier invoices and save on to the server and maintain the filing system
  • Create Purchase Orders for items per the Supplier list.
  • Maintain the details of the Supplier list
  • Risk assessment procedures for new customer credit application
  • Stock take and recording
